Amphitheatre Primary school
Welcome to our wonderful small rural school in the Pyrenees Ranges. We pride ourselves on having small class sizes with daily one to one teaching time for each student. Our newly renovated buildings allow for the students to have a comfortable learning environment. We also have a ratio of one computer for every student in our school. This ensures our students are learning the necessities of life in the 21st century.
Monday to Friday – 9 am to 3:15 pm
Recess – 11:00 am to 11:30 am
Lunch – 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm
Students in the ‘Little Room’ also have fruit break at 10:00 am
We recommend that students bring to school food and beverages that are regarded as healthy options. We recommend students have fruit and or vegetables each day in the classroom with very little processed foods such as chips or chocolate bars. Students are able to store their food in the fridge in the kitchen and heat up food using the microwave. We recommend water as the only beverage to be brought to school however fresh tank water is available at all times in the school yard. No chewing gum or lollies allowed at school unless for special events.
The school is divided into two classrooms. Usually the classes are divided from Foundation (prep) - 3 and 3 - 6 depending on the number of students in each year level.
